COVID-19 FAQs

As we all continue to navigate the changing tides posed by pandemic related challenges, we wanted to take the time to update you on our priorities and plans at Achievement Learning Center, as well as how our work with your families will continue.

The safety of your family and our staff is our top priority...

We continue to monitor CDC best practices to provide in-center tutoring. We appreciate your patience as we work through the best and safest ways to conduct business as usual. We continue to provide individualized and quality online tutoring solutions in addition to safe in-person services.

Our commitment to quality individualized tutoring continues...

Due to the nature of the individualized hands-on work we do in-center, we are navigating the best way to do that safely and effectively following CDC guidelines of cleanliness and safe distancing. Tutoring your child - especially the younger ones - can be a close contact experience that requires an extra level of thought, planning and precaution.

What you can expect from us:
  • Our Bee Cave/Lakeway Center is open for in-person tutoring

  • We also provide tutoring services for students online

  • All in-center staff are required to be vaccinated

  • We will honor parent requests for masking or other reasonable measures

  • We highly recommend the continuation of online tutoring for students and/or family members with compromised immune systems or who have been in high risk contact situations

  • We will provide COVID-19 prevention supplies (e.g., disinfecting wipes, antiseptic hand soap, hand sanitizer and tissues)

  • We will implement enhanced cleaning and disinfecting procedures - between tutoring sessions - for all student touch surfaces and objects

  • We ask that all students stay at home if exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms as outlined by the CDC or having come into close contact with someone displaying such symptoms

  • We will check the temperature of all students and staff entering the center for scheduled lessons and ask anyone exhibiting an elevated temperature not to enter the center

  • We ask that students wash their hands both before and after each session

  • We will modify student snack, water and restroom access as appropriate

  • Finally - we will keep you updated on any and all news that may impact your family and the ALC community at large
